The typical makeup features 17–19% chromium, 9–12% nickel, and up to 0.7% titanium. This alloy is known for its impressive strength and oxidation resistance, even at temperatures reaching 870°C (1600°F). In terms of mechanical properties, these valves boast a tensile strength of around 515 MPa, a yield strength of 205 MPa, and an elongation of 40%.
